Frequently asked questions
Is it legally recognised in the Republic of Moldova?
Yes. Documents signed with MSign are fully legally binding under Law no. 91/2014, and are recognised by the courts, ANRE, the State Tax Service and international partners via eIDAS.
Where is the data stored?
In the Chișinău data centre. Daily encrypted backups, 90-day retention.
How does the MSign framework agreement work?
Once per user: on the first signature you go through the official MSign service for biometrics; after that each document is signed in about 30 seconds.
Can I integrate it with my existing system?
Yes — a REST API for creating documents from templates, uploading photos, triggering signing and downloading sealed documents. SDKs for Node.js and .NET.
Which formats are supported?
A native DOCX and XLSX editor; signed documents are sealed as PDF with an sha256 hash. Imports: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG/PNG.
How many languages does the platform support?
Romanian, Russian and English — instant switching, with your preference remembered (ro-MD, ru-MD for local context).
